Metamosaici Shibori

The Shibori Metamosaics challenge the characteristic of rigidity and heaviness typical of the mosaic, to the point of creating a light and mobile, almost immaterial mosaic.

There have been attempts in the past to give lightness to the mosaic, emulating drapery and fabrics, but although visually impactful, they have always remained on rigid supports. Thanks to my experiments with fabric, I created the Shibori metamosaics, which break this pattern by going beyond tradition… rediscovering the soul of the card, ethereal and light, which leaves its mark in the world of matter.
